Formula: Grade Needed = (Target Average × Total Assignments) - Sum of Current Grades. Example: Current grades 80, 85, 80, 85, 80 (avg 82%), want 85% average after 6 assignments: (85 × 6) - 410 = 100. You need 100% on the next assignment.

This calculator assumes equal-weight assignments. For different point values, use the weighted grade calculator instead, or convert each assignment to a percentage first.

Yes, but it shows the average needed across remaining assignments. If you have 3 assignments left and need an average of 90% on them, you could get 85%, 90%, 95% (avg 90%).
